We’re happy to confirm that the Children’s Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) will continue in 2018, providing $1,052 worth of dental care in a two-year period for children.
In addition, it is now easier for parents to schedule visits in the school holidays, with a change allowing treatment every five months, instead of six months. A maximum of two visits per calendar year will still apply, but it means you can avoid booking an appointment in the busy school term.
Once again, FirstBite Dental would like to thank the Australian Dental Association for calling for this change, and making it easier for us all to protect our children’s teeth.
